Description of sport/activity: Where to go for more information: Band Office or Room 333
Length of season: Full school year
Practice and/or meeting times: Meets daily as a class during 2nd hour
Practice and/or meeting location: Room 333
Competition/Performances: We perform a concert each trimester
Eligibility requirements: Open to any 10th grade instrumental musician
Average number of members: 30 – 40 students
Costs and/or needed equipment: Provide your own instrument (specialty instruments will be provided)

Name of Activity: Concert and Varsity Band (9th grade band)

Practice and/or meeting times: Concert Band rehearses 1st hour and Varsity Band rehearses 6th hour
Practice and/or meeting location: Room 333
Competition/Performances: Four concerts
Eligibility requirements: Previous band experience in middle school and placement interview by Mr. Lukkasson .
Average number of members: 50-60
Costs and/or needed equipment: Own instrument and instrument supplies – specialty instruments provided

Name of Activity: Jazz Ensemble I

Description of sport/activity: A balanced Jazz Ensemble that rehearses daily to perform a variety of jazz literature.

Name of Activity: Patriots Marching Band
Head Coach/Advisor(s): Mr. Ravndal (St. Anthony Village High School band director)
Description of sport/activity: A summer marching band in cooperation with St. Anthony High School We rehearse several times a month to prepare for summer parades

Competition/Performances: 6 – 7 Minnesota parades and 1 National parade.

Average number of members: 130 – 170 students grades 8 – 12
Costs and/or needed equipment: $100 activity fee and cost of the trip to a national parade
