Eligibility requirements: MSHSL - 9 -12

Name of Activity: Spring Musical
Head Coach/Advisor(s): Mr. Wressell and Mr. Young (Mr. Lukkason and Mr. Julien)
Description of sport/activity: Broadway musicals are a rich and storied chapter in our American history. We choose a show every year that we think embodies all that is good about that tradition The show is picked based on the talent we have and on its theatrical merit.

Length of season: 8 weeks
Practice and/or meeting times: Every day after school from 2:45 to 5 and also some Saturdays
Practice and/or meeting location: Fine Arts Center
Competition/Performances: Usually the performances are the last weekend in April and the first weekend in May
Eligibility requirements: Students are required to try out for roles and may not make the cast The directors work hard to use everyone they can, within the limitations of the show and the physical constraints of the theater. Students can participate on stage or backstage in the tech crew. Students also play in the orchestra
Average number of members: 30 – 40 actors; 10 – 20 tech crew; 10 – 20 orchestra

Awards criteria & type of awards: Students can letter in drama. Lettering criteria is on file
