 High school Knowledge Bowl is back! Team qualifies for sub-region meet

In its inaugural season (after ten years of not fielding a team), the Spring Lake Park High School Knowledge Bowl team is back in business, bowling over the competition, and gaining notice in the metro area. The team has qualified for the sub-region meet on Tuesday, March 9 at St. Anthony Village High School.
Spring Lake Park, MN Team members are Ben Allen, Nikitha Potturi, Razvan Stanici, Kelly Stifter, and Nolan Varani. The advisor is Melanie Tuve.
In the sub-region meet they will face the talents of twenty other teams including Apple Valley, Eden Prairie, Chaska, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, and St. Thomas Academy.
Knowledge Bowl is an interdisciplinary academic competition involving teams of students competing to answer questions in a written round and several oral rounds. |
