The west side of Park Terrace was completely reconstructed, moving the classrooms from the center of the wing and reconstructing them against the outside walls. Natural light from the skylights in a widened hallway now flow into the classrooms, which have windows facing the hallway. An enlarged gym will now adequately provide for two simultaneous teaching stations.
Like Woodcrest, the kitchen at Park Terrace has been expanded and the cafeteria has been redefined into a multi-purpose room with greatly expanded window space. In addition, deferred maintenance projects also included a new mechanical system and new carpeting in the classrooms, as well as asbestos abatement and replacement of the plumbing and piping. Next summer, the east wings of both Park Terrace and Woodcrest will be completed in similar fashion.

Windows will be added in the cafeteria to provide natural light. The cafeteria will become a multi-purpose space. Circular and rectangular tables with chairs will replace the current seating. (This new type of seating will be used in all schools in the district.)
