High School Assessment Update
The local scholarship applications are now available in the Student Services Office.
All applications must be completed and turned in no later than 2:30 pm on March 26, 2010.
TALENT SHOW TONIGHT:
Fine Arts Center at 7:30p.m. Admission $6. $4 for Senior citizens.
Use door #1 at the rotunda. Door open at 7:00 p.m.
Performers: Bands should arrive at 6 p.m. to set all equipment, all other performers by 6:30.
Ultimate Frisbee Club meeting TONIGHT for both students and parents this Thursday. Any student (both boys and girls) interested in joining this new SLPHS Club plan on attending this meeting on Thursday March 11 at 6:00 PM in the HS cafeteria.
REGION 5AA Vocal Solo/Ensemble Contest
Will be held here on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Many Library books and items are over due….either renew them or return them.

PROM…Ladies: If you are planning on attending prom this year and will not be able to afford a new dress, please stop by to see Noreen in the Activities Office or visit your counselor to get information on OPERATION GLASS SLIPPER which will be held at the Mall of America on March 13th and 14th! THIS coming weekend ONLY for the free dresses!!!!
State EMS Competition Results
SLP OEC took 1st, 3rd, 5th place at last Saturday's contest.
29 teams competed in all. Each 4 person team worked 3 scenarios, 1 required them to jump into the pool to retrieve a drowning child, another had 10 victims and required them to triage and pick the 2 victims most in need of help. Each participant took a 50 question written exam. 1109 points were possible.

“The Triple “A” program was created in 1988 to recognize high school students who excel in the arts, athletics, and the academics. Seniors who have a “B” or higher grade point average and who participate in MSHSL activities.
GSA Meets on Wednesdays in the Student Services conference room after school.
SANP (Senior All Night Party)- Starting Feb. 15th and running through April 15th, Chili's is holding a fundraiser for us as well! You need to let your server know to give the SANP 10% of your total bill! This can be for dine out or take out, doesn't matter.
Sophomore Senate will meet Tuesdays at 2:40 in Room B 244.
Junior Senate Meeting will be FRIDAYS after school at 2:40 in Rm.C 254 (Ms. Schlangen's room). B and C building closes at 3 p.m. daily. No students are to be in these two buildings without staff being with them. All students need to be in the rotunda area by 3 p.m. Students need to be reminded to have all items with them.
There are activity buses Every day…M, Tu, Thu 5 pm / W, Fr 4 pm. Bus should pick up near the pool entrance.
