Activity bus today
Junior Senate: there will be a short Junior senate meeting tonight and all students planning on decorating for prom should attend. The meeting will be in Brockman's room, 516 **LATE START TOMORROW...
The competitive gym will be opened for the remaining late start Wednesdays. Prom will be in the old red gym starting early Wednesday. Please have the students go to the competitive gym and not the red gym.
SLP SPRING CHESS TOURNAMENT:
Monday, May 12 - Wednesday, May 14. Play starts at 2:30 sharp each day. There will be three rounds each day. This will be a double elimination contest. Sign up with Mr. Chase in room 429. Trophy will be awarded to the winner.
LUNCH INFO: All students MUST have money in their accounts.
Starting April 15th we will change the debit floor at the high school from $6 to 0.
Any student at that time will be given a cheese sandwich, milk, fruit and vegetable if they have no money in their account.

LAST LATE START Wednesday, May 21st
This is our last late start Wednesday for this school year.
YEARBOOK: Yearbook distribution is on Wed. May 21 during 5th hour.
STUDENT COUNCIL? All student interested in running for next year's Student Council must pick up an application for candidacy from Mrs. Kranz in room 420. All completed applications are due by Tuesday May 13th.
Our 8th Annual Senior Art Show will start next week MAY 8 through May end.

All library materials are due Friday, the 16th. Please help us by reminding students to get their materials back to the library. After the 16th we must start entering fees for overdue materials assumed lost.

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:
The Wondering Women Book Club under the weekly stuff if you like. Thursdays at 2:30 in the library. Panther Den is open Monday through Thursday in the Team Teaching room. Students who are staying after and need a place to wait for a ride or to meet some other students, the Panther Den in open from 2:30 - 4:45 p.m.
SOPHOMORE SENATE: They meet every Monday after school at 2:30 in room 415
(C.H.A.T.) Chemical Health Awareness Team is a group of drug free SLP HS students that meets every Thursday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm in room 432. All are welcome to participate. No need to sign up...just show up!
GSA is the Gay-Straight Alliance. It is starting up again at Spring Lake Park. We meet on Wednesdays at 2:30 in Room 435A. Anyone interested is welcome to attend. This is a student-led and student-organized school club that aims to create a safe, welcoming and accepting school environment for all youth, regardless of one's sexual orientation
Manga/Anime Club
Meetings are on Thursdays in room 519 from 2:30 - 4:00. Manga is a Japanese fro comics and Anime is Japanese for cartoons. The club is for anyone interested in comic books (now called graphic novels), Japanese comic book art, etc.
ACTIVITY BUS will run after school on the following days:Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The busses will pick up at the High School at 4:45 p.m. on the Able Street side. SPORTS

VOLLEYBALL MEETING: There will be a spring volleyball meeting for all players including Seniors from last fall season. Meeting is scheduled for next Thursday, May 15 right after school in Coach Johnson's photo room 221. This year's seniors, varsity, JV, B, 9th grade and anyone who is interested in joining this fall.
