Mr. Fineran received his Bachelor's degree from Indiana State University in Physical Education & Health. After graduating, he served in the United States Army as an infantry officer and helicopter pilot in the Vietnam Conflict. Upon his leaving the military, he obtained his Master's degree in Counseling & Guidance from the University of Northern Colorado. He also has an advanced degree in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University. His educational work experience has included working as a physical education teacher, cooperative education teacher and guidance counselor in Illinois and Minnesota.  He also serves as the head coed track & field coach. Mr. Fineran enjoys many sporting activities, including skiing (water & snow), snowmobiling, golf, basketball to name a few. And as his fellow department members can attest when he turns up the volume to his stereo, he still likes to rock and roll. GO PANTHERS!
