Metabolism Project Sites
Check out some of these sites to find out more about metabolism, diet and nutrition. Many of these sites have metabolism calculators which could be used for comparison with your method. Other sites have a wealth of diet and nutrition information which goes from general to very specific needs of the athlete.

Remember that many companies have nutrition data online. Try typing in: www. <company name> .com. Look on the page for the nutrition guide. Often it is near the very bottom of the company's page.
Remember too that you may need to estimate what you ate. For example, if you ate Chanticlear pizza you won't find the information online, but you can find something similar at http://www.papajohns.com/menu/index.htm.
If you are trying to estimate how much you ate, here are some rough guides.
a deck of cards or palm of hand = 3 to 4 oz of meat a fist = about 1 cup tip of thumb = 1 tablespoon tip of pinky = 1 teaspoon 16 tablespoons = 1 cup = 8 oz 3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon
